In typical Apple fashion, the company is sure to unveil its device prices before its actual launch date in Malaysia, and it has finally unveiled the iPhone XR’s official retail price on its official website, the iPhone XR will retail from RM3,599 and unlike the more expensive Xs, it is available in three storage capacities of 64GB, 128GB and 256GB, it will also have more color options than the iPhone Xs with a selection of White, Black, Blue, Yellow, Coral and PRODUCT)RED(tm).
The iPhone XR’s price maxes out at RM4,299 for the 256GB model, which is significantly cheaper than the iPhone Xs. In an added advantage, the iPhone XR has a larger screen size than the Xs at 6.1-inches, though it uses an LCD display instead of OLED, Apple claims that it is the best LCD display that it has ever used on an iPhone.
Apart from that, the iPhone XR omits the dual camera setup on the iPhone Xs, but it still has the A12 Bionic processor, a single 12MP f/1.8 and 7MP TrueDepth front camera, IP67 water and dust protection, and support for dual SIM, which our variant is confirmed to use eSIM and Nano SIM.
For the first time, Apple is also officially kicking off preorder on its official website, customers can place their orders starting 19th October 3.01 PM, so that you don’t need to queue for it at retail stores.
