ASUS has been working hard throughout 2016, unveiling its impressive ZenFone series of handsets. The company aims to keep its mass audience of users, this time launching a budget smartphone specifically for the Indian market, for the time being that is. The ASUS ZenFone Go 4.5 LTE packs just enough for its low price point.
For starters, the ZenFone Go 4.5’s display has its name speaking for itself, measuring at 4.5-inches with 854 x 480 resolution, which can be disappointing considering the fact that many entry level smartphones sport a 720p resolution display. Underneath the hood is a Snapdragon 410 chipset clocked at 1.0 GHz, alongside 1GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable storage up to a further 128GB via the micro SD slot. Included with the handset is 100GB of Google Drive storage for 2 years.
The rear camera of the ZenFone Go 4.5 is of 8 megapixels, and the phone features a 2MP front facing selfie shooter, which sounds just about enough to get the selfie job done. Apart from that, the phone packs a 2,070mAh battery, and it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow topped with ASUS own Zen UI. The ZenFone Go 4.5 LTE will set you back 6,999 INR (RM460.97). Perhaps ASUS needs to depend on lower end markets to contribute to its sales. Would you be able to live with the ASUS ZenFone Go 4.5?
