If you want to get a smartphone but don’t want to change it ever six months for a new or upgraded version, HTC might be the brand you should stick to. The company has come out with a new business strategy that will see them producing one premium flagship model for 2018.
The HTC U12+ will be the only flagship model we will be seeing this year as the company has reported that last year did not see much improvement in their sales and they are approaching the market differently this time around. The U12+ will look premium on the outside and inside as well, as it comes with a Snapdragon 845 processor, 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. On the back is a dual-camera setup with a 12MP+16MP configuration.
This new business method does sound like a good idea, as customers will feel better buying a phone from a company that has one flagship a year, forgoing the update/refresh path that many other companies going down.
