The HONOR 20 has enhanced Bluetooth technology; connects up to 200m distance

We often use Bluetooth to transfer files to our friends, or connect to wireless speakers and headsets when they’re near us because it’s easy and convenient. However, the problem arises when we reach the distance limit, causing the connection to be weak and unstable. The HONOR 20 is said to come with enhanced Bluetooth that connects up to 200m apart — solving the one major issue with the current Bluetooth technology.

With the enhanced Bluetooth technology, the connection between the HONOR 20 and wireless speakers, headphones and other devices will be stronger. This is the contribution of its self-developed Hi1103 wireless chipset that can detect environmental factors and Bluetooth signal to make adjustments, strengthening the connection of the phone.

According to HONOR, there is now a high-speed Bluetooth mode that can double the transmission power of Bluetooth signals whenever the signals are detected to be weak. This will, however, cause an increase in power consumption, though HONOR did mention that it will be automatically switched off if found unnecessary.

Simply put, the HONOR 20 is capable of stronger and steadier Bluetooth connection compared to other devices, even at a further distance.
