Samsung may still be building hype on the Galaxy S9, but it hasn’t given up on entry-level devices like the Galaxy J2 Pro, which has just been announced today for less than RM500. The J2 Pro isn’t an all impressive smartphone, but it sure does have things that will entice users on a budget or looking for a spare device, such as a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with an acceptable qHD resolution, dual SIM support with 4G LTE connectivity, and dual messenger app support.
Other than that, the J2 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 425 processor supported by 1.5GB RAM and 16GB of storage, the phone has an 8-megapixel main camera with autofocus and a front facing 5-megapixel camera for selfies, the 2600mAh battery is removable and should technically last a day with it’s less power consuming hardware. The Galaxy J2 Pro is available starting today at all Samsung Experience Stores and authorized resellers nationwide, along with color options of Blue Silver, Pink, Black and Gold.
