The momentum of NVIDIA’s most powerful GPU continues to be strong, as ASUS have brought in the ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1070 GPU into the Malaysian shores, available in factory overclocked and stock variants, the ROG Strix GTX 1070 is priced at RM2,599 and RM2,499 respectively. In terms of specs, the GPU has the same amount of 8GB GDDR5x memory found on the Founder’s Edition, the overclocked variant of the GPU is clocked at 1835MHz out of the box and goes up to 1860MHz in OC mode, ASUS claims that the GPU could deliver up to 7.1% faster performance in 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme and 8.5% faster gaming performance in Doom.

Apart from having better performance, the ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1070 also features ASUS’ DirectCU III cooling system that delivers up to 30% cooler and three times quieter performance, cooling can also be further improved with the ASUS FanConnect technology which allows gamers to connect their system fans to the GPU via two 4-pin GPU-controlled headers to provide supplemental cooling for optimal thermal performance. Last but not the least, the ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1070 also has Aura RGB Lighting for spicing up your gaming rig and two HDMI ports for providing a convenient VR experience without having to swap cables.
