In a world where smartphones only opt with either a dual camera setup on the front or rear, Alcatel has brought things to the next level with the Alcatel Flash, featuring dual camera configurations on both the front and rear side of the device. Now you’ll able to play around with the depth of field for your selfie shots as well!

The Alcatel Flash is currently being teased on the company’s website, with a number of revealed specs. We do know that the phone will sport a 5.5-inch display in Full HD resolution as stated. Underneath the hood is a processor with a staggering 10 cores – the MediaTek Helio X20 chipset. The Alcatel Flash comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Storage can be further expanded to 128GB via the micro SD card slot.

As mentioned earlier, the Alcatel Flash features dual cams on both the rear and front of the device. The dual rear camera configuration is of 13MP + 13MP, with PDAF and an aperture of F/2.0. The dual front facing selfie sensors are of 8MP + 5MP with PDAF and the same aperture as well. The front facing setup incorporates Super Selfie Mode which allows for users to tweak the depth of field, the focus and blur points of front facing shots. Powering the handset is a decently sized 3,100mAh battery.

The Alcatel Flash sounds like a phone to look forward to, with a total of 4 cameras altogether. The Helio X20 processor should pass with flying colors as well, contributing to the overall impressiveness on paper. The availability and pricing of the Alcatel Flash has yet to be revealed just yet.
