Xiaomi’s Black Shark phone was released closer to the start of this year and it basically kicked off the gaming smartphone craze after the Razer Phone showed people the power of a gaming phone. However, the Black Shark was limited to selected countries and it did not have an official support here in Malaysia.
The Black Shark on its own, did not pick up traction because of that but Xiaomi has not given up as in a recent TENAA listing, there is a listing for a Black Shark 2 phone. The phone will apparently come with a dual-camera setup on the back as well as a fingerprint sensor. There is also an engraved green arc which could indicate LED lighting. Specs-wise, the phone comes with a 5.99-inch FHD+ display which supports DCI-P3 and colour gamut of up to 97%, Snapdragon 845, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. Powering the phone is a 4000mAh battery which will support fast charging.
Lastly, it obviously has a liquid cooling technology that will apparently keep the phone cool while gaming and it might retail for 2999 Yuan (RM1807.51)
