Synology introduces the compact DS423+ 4-bay NAS

If you are looking for a great NAS server for your home or office, Synology has introduced the DS423+, it is a powerful 4-bay NAS that offers exceptional value to users with limited storage requirements, it boasts up to 21% faster photo indexing over its predecessor among other performance improvements all thanks to the more powerful Intel Celeron J4125 processor.

Most of the hardware features from the DS420+ have been brought forward to the DS423+, which includes a soldered 2GB DDR4 non-ECC SODIMM RAM where users can upgrade to 6GB with an additional SODIMM RAM slot, two M.2 NVMe drive slots for caching and fast storage pools, two Gigabit LAN ports with Link Aggregation and Failover support, and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports.

In terms of file transfer performance, Synology quotes up to 226MB/s of read and 224MB/s of write speeds. As usual, the NAS is powered by Synology’s DSM operating system and uses the advanced Btrfs file system, which safeguards data against corruption and can reverse any unintended and malicious changes through the use of snapshot technology.

The Synology DS423+ is now available to purchase in Malaysia with a suggested retail price of RM2,288.88 without hard drives, get yours here.
