Steam announced that the new PS5 DualSense Controller will be supported on Steam, meaning those who have one or are planning to get one will be able to use it to play games on Steam.
Advanced features on DualSense Controller still unavailable
The DualSense controller has some interesting upgrades over its predecessor, but these advanced features aren’t available on Steam Beta yet. However, it also means that these features (rumble, trackpad, gyro) will be supported in the future to offer better gaming experience.
Xbox Series X controllers will be supported soon
In the announcement, Steam also mentioned that it has fixed the issue whereby users’ Xbox Series X controllers has been appearing as two separate controllers. This also means that Steam will be supporting the Xbox Series X controller in the future.
Those who are interested to get the PS5 DualSense controller will have to pay a hefty price of RM349 which will be available from December 11 onwards. You can pre-order it, but it is already sold out at most places.
