With the recent announcement of Apple’s new lineup of Mac devices powered by their latest M1 chipsets, it looks like the company is ending the year quite strongly, ushering a new era for their computer lineups; but they’re not resting on their laurels either because reports say Apple will start next year with the launch of the AirPods 3 and a new mini-LED iPad.

According to reliable tech analyst Ming Chi-Kuo, the new AirPods will look a lot like the current iteration, but the charging case will come with a new type of battery that only uses soft board material, which uses less layers to build a battery, making it smaller; thus allowing more space within the case.

Speaking of new battery, Ming Chi-Kuo also reports that the upcoming iPhone 13 will have the same type of battery. Created by Taiwan Career Technology, the battery costs less to produce and will apparently lead to a 100% rise in year-on-year revenue for Apple starting next year.

Lastly, also on the menu is a new iPad that will be of a small form factor, and will pack an LED screen. This will be mass-produced somewhere in the middle of the first half of 2021, meaning it may arrive late first half.

The AirPods 3 will arrive in the first half of the year, while the iPhone 13 will come later in 2021. There’s a ways away before we see any of these devices, so for now, let’s ogle at the iPhone 12 while we wait.
