Sony has really gone all out with the release of the Xperia XZ2, changing the design language and producing what can probably be considered the best phone they company ever produced. They are keeping that status with their next phone, the Xperia XZ3 and this time they are improving its photography game by including a 48MP sensor on the back.
This camera sensor is made possible thanks to their recent mobile image sensor, the IMX586 which is capable of taking up to a 48MP image. However, it looks like they will have a very similar design to the Xperia XZ2 which is not a problem as the new design was a welcome sight from the previous blocky phones they released. Other than that, they also increased the RAM storage to 6GB, a 2GB increase from the XZ2, and a 12MP front-facing camera that supports 4K video recording. Other specs include a 5.7-inch FHD+ screen as well as the Snapdragon 845 processor.
Sony has planned to launch the Xperia XZ3 on August 30 during IFA and we are definitely looking forward to the improvements on an already excellent device.
