The millennial’s of this generation is quick when it comes to picking up online challenges. Challenges that is showcased on social media such as Youtube, TikTok, and Instagram has dominate the way people participate in online trends, and now, Snapchat is jumping onto the bandwagon by releasing their own challenge known as the “Lens Challenge”.
The Lens Challenge works as a themed challenge that incorporates Snapchat Lens, which can then be featured for the app’s community. The first challenge that has been launched today is related to the festive season, where Snapchat users can select a specific Lens that allows them to sing to a version of “Jingle Bells” by Gwen Stefani.
To participate in the Snapchat Challenge, users are required to open the app’s Lens carousel, then followed by tapping onto the smiley icon to access the Lens Explorer, and choose the “Jingle Bell” Challenge option, take a video and once that’s done, send it to the Gwen Stefani Challenge story.
