Skype on Android has received a new update and with it, two new features were introduced into the app.
If you’re someone who uses Outlook to schedule Skype calls, Skype for Android now allows you to schedule calls in Outlook through the Skype App. All you have to do is tap on the person you want to plan a call with, the n tap the menu on the upper right to select ‘Schedule a call’.
The other improvement made to Skype for Android is that you can now open Word, Excel and PowerPoint files through Skype itself. If you have Office apps installed on your phone, tapping on a file sent by your contact would immediately open said file on the Office app in question. If you do not have any of the Office apps, tapping the files would bring you to a page with instructions on how to install them.
