Sharp launches the Z2 and M1 smartphones in Malaysia

Sharp’s smartphones have finally made landfall in Malaysia as the company, alongside Commtiva, has launched the Sharp Z2 and Sharp M1 smartphones today.

The more powerful of the two phones is the Z2, sporting a 5.5″ Full HD LTPS display and MediaTek’s deca-ore Helio X20 processor that comes with Tri-Cluster CPU architecture. Alongside the deca-core processor, the Z2 also comes with 4GB of RAm, 32GB of storage space that is expandable up to 128GB via a micro-SD memory card, and a 3000mAh battery that can be charged up to 50% in just 30 minutes. The Z2 also comes with 16MP rear camera with auto-focus and PDAF, and an 8MP F/1.8 82 degress wide front camera for selfies.

Besides the Z2, Sharp has also launched the humble M1. This smartphone sports a 5.5″ Full HD LTPS Display and is powered by a MediaTek MT6753 processor. Other specifications include 3GB of RAM, 64GB of storage space which is expandable to 64GB, a 2600mAh battery, a 13MP 80 degree wide angle rear camera, and a 13MP, auto-focus, 77 degree ‘selfie’ wide angle front camera.

Both phones will be available in early November, with the Z2 retailing for RM1,199 and the M1 retailing for RM899.
