It was last year when PETRONAS launched Setel, an app that provides e-payment solution for fuel purchases. While it was limited to certain PETRONAS stations previously, now all PETRONAS stations in Klang Valley support this e-payment solution.
In addition to that, Setel now comes with a new feature — Refer A Friend. This is to further expose Malaysian drivers to the fuel payment app while also encouraging them to try out the feature so they can enjoy earning points and pumping fuel without the need to walk over to counters.
Referrers will earn credits when the new user transacts RM30 worth of fuel via the app. The first referral will earn the referrer RM5, followed by RM6 for second referral and RM7 for the third referral onwards. Those who are referred will also be entitled to RM5, so it’s a win-win situation for both parties.
Setel is available on App Store and Google Play Store for free.
