Selangor government will host the Selangor Cyber Games

There is yet another eSports competition on the horizon, but unlike the others that have been hosted by various gaming leagues, this one in particular is hosted by the Selangor government.

Aptly named the Selangor Cyber Games, this eSports event is organized by the state government of Selangor, Mineski Events Teams and Big Machinez. Taking place at OneCity on the 9th until the 11th of September, the Selangor Cyber Games will consist of eight tournaments spread out over seven different titles. The titles involved in this tournament includes League of Legends, Clash Royale, Street Fighter V, Hearthstone, Dota 2, FIFA 16 and Counter Strike Global Offensive.

Selangor Cyber Games will also play host to the MPGL Dota 2 Southeast Asian Championship, a tournament that pits the best Dota 2 teams in the Southeast Asia against each other, with a prize pool that is worth USD 50,000.

For those interested in participating in the event, you can sign up for the tournament at the event website.
