Scribd has always an informative site where there are tons of documents that can provide various types of information to its readers, and now the company ups the game by introducing Scribd Originals.
Scribd Originals is a program that will publish original content from various authors, which can be exclusively accessed by Scribd subscribers. It includes various genres and the content will be available in both ebook and audiobook format.

“Working with authors and giving them the freedom to tell stories in new and interesting ways is a natural next step for Scribd. We want to help authors engage with more readers by producing binge-worthy Originals that fit readers’ interests and can often be read in one sitting,” said CEO of Scribd Trip Adler.
The program works directly with authors and publishers, while ensuring that authors are given the freedom to experiment with their works without being restricted by time limits. In addition, the program is integrated with a personalised recommendation engine that will suggest new content to readers “based on their expressed interests, past reads, and favorite books and authors.”
Those who are interested can actually go for a 30-day trial, and if they are interested in subscribing to Scribd, they can do so for $8.99/month.
