With that in mind, Samsung strengthens its wearables with a collaboration with Under Armour, a popular sports apparel brand, to bring you a more authentic fitness experience. By combining Samsung’s mobile technology via its wearable devices and bringing it together with Under Armour’s connected fitness expertise, you can better track your nutrition, daily workouts, running routes, or just simply keeping in touch with a digital personal trainer to keep you motivated.

Under Armour will develop four of its globally renowned health and fitness apps for the Samsung Gear Fit2, Gear S2 and Gear S3, with access to Under Armour’s digital community. The fitness apps will be available as part of Under Armour Connected Fitness suite including UA Record, MyFitnessPal, MapMyRun, and Endomondo.

In addition to these apps, Samsung will also offer unique functionalities for the Gear Fit2, Gear S2, and Gear S3. Samsung Gear Fit2 users will have access to UA Record, MapMyRun, and MyFitnessPal apps starting 4 January 2017, and the Endomondo app will also be available for Gear Fit2 in January. As for Samsung Gear S2 and Gear S3 users, you will be able to download the suite of apps in early 2017 with complete features, depending on your region.
