Samsung QN800A Neo QLED 8K TV: the ultimate 8K TV that lets you do more

Samsung has recently sent us their flagship QN800A Neo QLED 8K TV, which comes in an impressive 85-inch canvas with significant visual improvements over last year’s QLED TV, we had the opportunity to test it out for two weeks and also have it paired up with the Samsung Q700A 3.1.2 channel soundbar, which both create a killer home cinema experience that has spoiled our eyes and ears.

The QN800A Neo QLED 8K TV combines Samsung’s Matrix Technology Pro and Mini LED backlighting that brings better blacks and brightness, as the use of the latter allows more local dimming zones due to its smaller size compared to traditional LED diodes, which the TV has many of them packed densely to provide the most accurate brightness and contrast.

4K content looks crystal clear on the QN800A all thanks to the Neo Quantum Processor 8K, which intelligently upscales the content and naturally sharpens detail such as hair strands and facial features, this is very noticeable when you play 4K content on Netflix.

Apart from visual improvements, the QN800A is an excellent TV for gaming all thanks to 4K 120Hz support and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, which gamers can experience buttery smooth gameplay and no graphics tearing in high frame rate games, input lag is also eliminated with an exclusive game mode, which also allows you to change to a 21:9 and 32:9 aspect ratio for an even more immersive gaming experience.

With Samsung’s exclusive Q-Symphony and SpaceFit sound, the QN800A Neo QLED 8K TV and Q700A soundbar works harmoniously to deliver a complete home cinema experience with an immersive surround sound experience, Q-Symphony plays sound from both the TV and soundbar with no delays to amplify audio, while SpaceFit sound intelligently calibrates sound according to your surroundings such as walls and corners for accurate sound projection.

The Samsung QN800A Neo 8K QLED TV and Q700A sound bar are an excellent combo to have for a great home cinema experience, watch our video as we bring you through the features.

Still using a slim design language like the QLED 2020 generation, the Neo QLED 8K 2021 has been subtly adjusted by Samsung to adjust the screen's stance perpendicular to the plane instead of falling back 3.5 degrees like its predecessor. Along with a screen thickness of only 15 mm, this design has brought a modern and very glossy look to the two most high-end Samsung TV lines in 2021.
