If you haven’t had a good look at Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Flip, then you’re in luck. The Verge’s Editor-in-Chief, Nilay Patel, just tweeted a video in which Samsung revealed the foldable phone during its Oscars ad.
There isn’t much to tell based on the ad since no internal specs were revealed, but we do know that it’ll come with a punch-hole in the center of the device paired with dual cameras on its back. Previous rumours also suggest the phone’s display to measure at 6.7-inches and sports a Foldable Dynamic AMOLED display.

If you squint your eyes and observe the bottom right corner of the video, you’ll also realize that there’s a small print in the ad that calls the crease at the folding point a “natural characteristic of the screen. While this is Samsung’s way to reassure its users that there’s nothing wrong if they find a crease in the new phone, it’s also clear to us that there hasn’t been a display solution that can totally avoid creasing yet.
Samsung’s Unpacked event will be happening tomorrow and if you’re interested in watching the livestream, you can do so on www.samsung.com.
