Samsung is set to release a new Galaxy Tab at MWC 2018 but it looks like we will be getting a sneak peek at the new device before its unveiling. The new tablet comes with a model number SM-T835 which appeared on GFXBench. Based on the Galaxy Tab S3 which came with a model number SM-T825, it seems like the SM-T835 will be the upcoming Galaxy Tab S4.
The listing shows that the tablet will come with a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with 2560 x 1600 resolution. Other than that, it comes equipped with Snapdragon Octa-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz and an Adreno 540 graphics chip which points to the Snapdragon 835 processor. It also comes with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and an 8MP front camera with Android 8.0 out of the box. Just like the Galaxy Tab S3, the S4 will come with a WiFi-only model and comes with AKG tuned speakers, S Pen and a keyboard.
There is still no indication on the pricing but from the specs above, we can see that this is the most powerful tablet that the company has ever produced. Last year at MWC, Samsung choose to unveil the S8 phones at a separate even and showed of the Galaxy Tab S3 and a Galaxy Book 2-in-1. Seeing as this year they are unveiling the S9 phones at MWC, it is uncertain if the Galaxy Tab S4 will be unveiled alongside the S9 phone, but we will keep you updated as soon as there is more information.
