We’re finally getting evidence that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will be receiving the highly-anticipated Android Oreo update, since they have already started rolling out the update to a few Samsung devices. And Samsung’s high-end slate has just been spotted at Wi-Fi Alliance running the Android update, so it’s clear it will be released to the public really soon.
It’s worth noting that the Galaxy Tab S3 is part of the second wave of Samsung devices that are supposed to receive Oreo updates, alongside other devices like the Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge, and Galaxy A5. While the Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8 Plus and Note 8 have already started to receive the respective update.
We will have to wait and see if there’s going to be a third-wave of Samsung devices that are expecting the Oreo update, but in the meantime, let’s just play around with what the Oreo has to offer to the current batch of smartphones.
