Looking for an affordable tablet? Samsung might have something you may be interested in as the company has revealed that the 2016 Galaxy Tab A is now available in Malaysia.
Retailing for RM 799, the particular Galaxy Tab A model that Samsung has brought into the local market is the 7″ variant. So far, no mention was made as to whether or not the 10.1″ variant will be available here, but judging from the online store, that particular device is not available as of yet. Another interesting thing to note is that the Galaxy Tab A model that Samsung is offering here is the LTE version instead of the Wi-Fi only version.
Specifications-wise, the Galaxy Tab A is pretty much what you’ll expect out of a affordable device, coming with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, and 8GB of storage which is expandable via microSD cards. Other features of the Galaxy Tab A 2016 includes a 5MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, and a 4,000mAh battery.
