If there’s one brand that’s making heads turn at the MWC this year, it’s definitely Samsung where the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus have been officially announced, with groundbreaking camera technology that’s like no other. It is just impressive how Samsung surprises us with their ideas over and over again.

Dual aperture
At the very basis of it all, the Samsung Galaxy S9 camera adapts the human eye, where it adjusts the aperture according to the time of the day the image is captured. The camera will automatically adjust to a wider aperture when it’s dark to allow more light to be captured on the image, similarly to how a human eye adjusts accordingly.

Infinity Display
With refined designs comes newly improved bezels that increases display size, where the S9 now gives off an “uninterrupted display”. Pretty sure the close-to-perfection display would serve as a truly immersive entertaining device for gamers (and non-gamers), because what’s not to like about it when you get to binge-watch movies with no annoying bezels that get in the way?

AR Emoji
Even emojis get revamped too. The Galaxy S9 camera allows users to customize their very own emojis with their facial features by taking a selfie and then editing the AR emoji to their own liking. This new feature is a totally new technology and is bound to be leading the industry, making it the new rivalry for iPhone X’s Animoji.

And if things could get any better, the audience that were present at the MWC event had the opportunity for an AR experience when they were asked to scan their badges with their Galaxy Unpacked app. This then led them to witness an AR Galaxy S9 on their very own phones. Even watching the live streaming at that moment was an amazing experience.
