Galaxy A42 5G: Samsung reveals full specs in an infographic

Just a month ago, Samsung announced the new Galaxy A42 5G with some official images. Now, the full specs of the phone is revealed in an infographic by Samsung.

Available in three colours

In the infographic, Samsung confirmed that there will be three colour options — Prism Dot Black, Prism Dot White and Prism Dot Grey. The Galaxy A42 5G will be powered by an octa-core CPU which seems to be the Snapdragon 750G chipset, but could also be the Exynos 8611 if it launches in Malaysia.

Internals

Apart from that, you can get from 4GB to 8GB RAM but only 128GB storage with this phone. It comes with an expandable storage and is also paired with a hefty 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W charging. It comes with a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display and has a dewdrop notch that houses a 20MP selfie lens.

Quad-camera setup

On the rear, the Galaxy A42 5G has a quad-camera setup consisting of a 48MP camera, an 8MP ultra wide lens, and two 5MP sensors — one for depth and one for macro.

Though the full specs have been revealed, the pricing availability for the Galaxy A42 5G hasn’t been confirmed.
