HONOR has introduced to its ecosystem two new devices in the MagicBook Pro laptop and Watch GS Pro smartwatch.
MagicBook Pro
The laptop packs a 16.1-inch FHD FullView display that boasts support for 100% sRGB colour output making it a great panel for media consumption and gaming.
The design of the laptop is minimalistic with an all-aluminum chassis and only the HONOR logo stamped on the cover. The laptop is also only 16.9mm thin and weighs 1.7kg.
Under the hood is the new Ryzen 4600H CPU with Radeon Graphics. There’s also 16GB RAM and 512GB of storage by way of a PCIe NVMe SSD. With that kind of power, the laptop employs a dual fan and dual heat pipe design to help keep the CPU and GPU cool.
There’s a 56Wh battery that is charged using a 65W charging brick that comes in the box. HONOR claims that the device can last you 11 hours of productivity tasks.
The MagicBook Pro is priced at RM3,599 and comes with a free backpack, mouse, and an HONOR Magic Earbuds when you buy it via HONOR’s online store. Should you purchase the laptop at a physical store or via HONOR’s Lazada and Shopee pages, you’ll get a Microsoft Office 365 Personal subscription in place of the Magic Earbuds.
HONOR Watch GS Pro
HONOR’s newest smartwatch is built like a tank with its rugged exterior and can apparently withstand 14 different MIL-STD-81-0G stress tests including temperature-humidity-altitude resistance, salt spray, sand resistance, and humidity resistance.
The packs a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with a full touchscreen capability. Under the hood is an A1 Kirin chipset as well as a battery that lasts up to 25 days on a single charge, or 48 hours with GPS enabled. The smartwatch can be charged to full in just 2 hours.
Being a smartwatch made for the outdoors, the Watch GS Pro supports GPS, GLONASS tracking system, and a Route Back function that helps guide you back to a set waypoint.
There are over 100 workout modes as well as skiing mode, in case you ever travel to the Alps. You can also count on a full suite of activity and health tracking features to help you keep in check of your body.
The GS Pro is priced at RM999 and comes with a free pair of HONOR Sport Pro earbuds. You buy it via HONOR’s online stores as well as physical outlets.
