Samsung has just announced the Galaxy A20s — the sibling to the Galaxy A30s and Galaxy A50s that was just launched in Malaysia last week.
Although the Galaxy A20s is supposedly the “younger” sibling, the device comes with a bigger 6.5-inch HD+ display. It sports an Infinity-V notch and comes with a physical fingerprint sensor on its rear.
The Galaxy A20s also sports an Octa-core 1.8GHz processor, paired with up to 4GB RAM and up to 64GB storage which is expandable up to 512GB. We’re definitely expecting it to ship with OneUI on top of Android 9, since even the flagship devices haven’t gotten Android 10 yet.
Like the Galaxy A30s and A50s, the device also sports a triple rear camera setup. It has a 13MP main camera alongside an 8MP ultra wide sensor and 5MP sensor. On the front, it has the same 8MP sensor as the Galaxy A20.
There’s also a 4,000mAh battery within the phone and if it’s anything like the Galaxy A20, it will also support 15W fast charging. As seen on the poster, Samsung also revealed that the Galaxy A20s will come in Black, Blue, Green and Red.
The Galaxy A20s is priced at RM699 and will be available in Black, Green and Red in Malaysia. Those who purchase the phone from September 18 to October 18 will be entitled will get a free six months screen protection.
