Samsung Galaxy A03s launched in Malaysia at RM559

In less than a year’s time, Samsung has launched the Samsung Galaxy A03s, the successor to the Galaxy A02s. The two devices may not differ much, but the newer phone has a more powerful chipset.

It’s almost the same, but still different

The Galaxy A03s features a 6.5-inch display that pushes HD+ resolution — this is something we’ve already seen from the Galaxy A02s. You’ll also get the same storage configuration — 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage — and the same 5,000mAh battery, but Samsung has reduced the charging speed to 7.75W instead of the 15W we get from the Galaxy A02s.

Camera-wise, the Galaxy A03s has a 13MP lens paired with a 2MP macro sensor and another 2MP depth sensor. This is, again, what you’ve seen on the previous phone, and it applies to the front 5MP selfie camera. There’s also no under-display fingerprint sensor or rear fingerprint sensor as the sensor is mounted on the side and also functions as the power button.

Where to get the Galaxy A03s

The Galaxy A03s is available in three colours – Blue, Black and White. You can get it for RM559 from Samsung’s official site.
