Samsung has finally announced the US pricing for the Galaxy Tab S3, along with its official release date stateside. The flagship tablet, which was unveiled back at MWC in Barcelona, will be carrying a premium price tag of $599.99 (RM2,662.16) and will go on sale a week from now on the 24th of March.
The Galaxy Tab S3 is already available for pre-orders, beginning today among US major retailers such as Samsung’s official website, Amazon and Best Buy. Samsung had the Galaxy Tab S3 spec-ed up to the brim when it announced the tablet late last month at the Mobile World Congress. The tablet features a glass body, a 9.7-inch Super AMOLED display plus 4 speakers on each corner of the tablet tuned by AKG. Underneath the hood is last year’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage.
Samsung’s newly announced flagship tablet comes with an S Pen, which usually only comes with the company’s Note phablet series. Samsung is also offering a keyboard for the Tab S3 which connects via a pogo pin connector instead of Bluetooth. The keyboard doesn’t come cheap either, with a $129.99 (RM576.77) price point.
