Samsung midrange phones are getting 5G support this year

More and more 5G phones are appearing in the market and to be honest, we’re all expecting 5G phones sometime soon. Samsung recently revealed that in addition to their current 5G flagship devices, they’ll also be adding 5G versions of the Galaxy A71 and Galaxy A51.

Interestingly, The Verge reported that there will be more 5G phones from the Galaxy A-series such as the Galaxy A01, the Galaxy A11 and the Galaxy A21. Unfortunately, we are still not sure whether these phones will arrive in Malaysia.

The current non-5G version of the Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 is priced at RM1,299 and RM1,799 respectively. When the 5G models of these phones arrive, we should be expecting higher price tags, but most of their specs should remain the same.

It’s not like we’re in a rush too; 5G connectivity in Malaysia isn’t ready yet, so there shouldn’t be any issues even if Samsung takes another few months to launch their 5G midrangers in our nation.
