ROG Phone 3 design leak TENAA

This is apparently what the upcoming ASUS ROG Phone 3 will look like – not very different unfortunately. The images of the phone were spotted on the Chinese certifications body TENAA which suggests these images are official.

The design

The ROG Phone boasts a blocky shape like that of its predecessor; interestingly, the camera placement has been left unchanged, but there looks to be one more lens added to it. Instead of a 48MP camera system however, it is reported that a 64MP module will take its place.

Familiar display

The display on the ROG Phone 3 will be a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel which is the same as the ROG Phone 2 – there’s also a chance it will have a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. There is also no notch – the selfie camera will instead take its place on the top bezel of the phone.

Top-tier hardware

The phone will rock a Snapdragon 865 chipset, and according to the TENAA listing, the phone will also support up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. Enabling all of this is a 5,800mAh battery, and the phone should support up to 30W of fast charging.

The phone will also ship with Android 10 with ROG UI layered on top. Unfortunately, not a lot has been disclosed about the ROG Phone 3’s gaming features yet, but the usual optimization and cooling software should be expected.

The phone is also touted to come this Q3 so stay tuned on our website as we bring you more updates when the phone launches.
