Just when you thought Samsung’s Note 7 explosion issue is a thing of the past, reports are coming in that a replacement Note 7 has exploded while on a flight.

According to The Verge, Southwest Airlines flight 994 had to be evacuated this morning as a passenger’s Note 7 smartphone began to smoke. The owner of the smartphone, Brian Green, mentioned that the phone the exploded was a replacement that he had gotten from an AT&T store on the 21 of September. Accompanying images of the Note 7’s box shows that the box came with a black square symbol, which is an indicator for a replacement Note 7.

Green says that the phone has been powered down and placed in his pocket when the device started smoking. When he dropped the phone on the floor of the plane, a “thick-grey-green angry smoke” begun pouring out of the device. Green has stated that his Note 7 was at 80% battery capacity when it ignited, and he has been relying on the wireless charger in order to charge the phone.

Samsung has since issued a statement on this issue, saying that they need to retreive and examine the device before being able to share information regarding this incident. If Samsung finds out that the Note 7 replacements sports defects of their own, it’s probably safe to say that the reputation of the Note 7 may be past the point of recovery.
