Even though 2020 is still a month away, renders of the Samsung Galaxy S11 is already all over the Internet, revealing the new design of the upcoming flagship device.

Thanks to OnLeaks and 91Mobiles, we can slightly know what to expect of the Galaxy S11. The first thing that you’ll notice is the change in position of the hole-punch that is now in the middle. While this is similar to the current Galaxy Note 10 series, it is a change from the Galaxy S10 series. In addition, the Galaxy S11 will also have a new camera design; instead of getting a horizontal alignment, the device now gets a vertically-aligned rectangular camera setup positioned on the top left.

Based on the renders, the Galaxy S11 will also have lesser curvature compared to its predecessor, but the bezels will remain narrow. We’re also expecting Samsung to keep the physical volume and power button, and maintain the same USB-C port and speaker grill on its bottom. According to OnLeaks, the device will be sporting a glass back paired with a metal frame.

Samsung is also likely to jump from a triple camera setup to a quintuple camera setup, where the additional two cameras are probably a depth sensor and perhaps a macro sensor. The Galaxy S11 may still sport a single front camera, but it’s safe to say that the Galaxy S11+ will come with dual-front camera — just like the Galaxy S10+.

The Samsung Galaxy S11 series is expected to come with three models — the Galaxy S11e, Galaxy S11 and Galaxy S11+. Each will come with a different display size, the smallest being a 6.3- or 6.4-inch panel while the largest being a 6.9-inch display. There’s even a possibility of the displays supporting 120Hz refresh rate.

As usual, these flagship devices will be powered by flagship chipsets — in this case, either the Snapdragon 865 chipset or Exynos 990 chipset depending on the market. They’re also expected to come with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, though we can expect more options. The Galaxy S11 series is rumoured to arrive in the first quarter of 2020, possibly near the end of February.
