As we edge closer to closing out the decade smartphone brands look to be rushing to push out their remaining list of products – we’ve already seen several smartphones launched this month; but this time, realme looks set to close out their year with their own launch too.
Set for a December 12 date, the realme 5s will make its appearance in the country, completing the series strongly. The device mixes the best of both worlds from the vanilla realme 5 and the realme 5 Pro and will sport a 48MP quad camera along with a capable Snapdragon 665 chipset and a massive 5,000mAh battery.
Looking at the phone’s specs in its India launch, the phone will be equipped with a 6.5-inch LCD panel that pushes 720p resolution. There will be two memory configurations – 4GB+64GB and 4GB+ 128GB.
For imaging, the 48MP main lens will be partnered up with an 8MP ultrawide shooter, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, you get a 13MP lens in a traditional drop notch module.
This will be a step up from the regular realme 5 smartphone, and it’s currently priced at INR9,999 (RM584). Stay tuned as we bring you updates on the local launch of the realme 5s.
