Xiaomi launched its Mi AirDots Youth Edition wireless earphones back in November 2018, and now that Redmi has separated from Xiaomi, the company has also decided to introduce their own AirDots called the Redmi AirDots.
In a post published by the company on its Weibo site, the Redmi AirDots are revealed to come with Bluetooth 5.0. They also sport a physical button that can control music playback and access voice assistants.
The Redmi AirDots have 7.2mm drivers and a built-in DSP, in addition to weighing only 4.1g. They come with 40mAh battery that can last up to 4 hours, but can last up to 12 hours with the case. The buds will take around 1.5 hours to get a full charge, while the 35.4g case will take 2 hours to fully charge.
While the Redmi AirDots are almost similar to the Mi AirDots Youth Edition, the former cost CNY99.9 while the latter cost CNY199. The Redmi AirDots will only be available from April 9 in China.
