Realme just announced its first 64MP smartphone — the Realme XT. Described as the “Quad Camera Xpert”, the realme XT is the first not only the first realme phone to sport a 64MP camera, but also the first phone in the world to do so.

The realme XT (XperT) has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with an LCD panel and 550 nits. It comes with a 91.9% screen-to-body ratio despite having a typical dewdrop notch and has a superlinear speaker paired with Dolby Atmos and Smart Power Amplifier. There’s also an in-display fingerprint sensor that is said to be faster than some physical fingerprint mount.

Apart from that, the phone is powered by a Snapdragon 712 AIE processor with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. It will ship with ColorOS 6 and will feature Dark Mode, in addition to users being able to customise the font of the phone. Battery wise, the phone has a 4,000mAh battery that supports VOOC 3.0 that only requires 80 minutes to fully charge.

Aside from the powerful 64MP camera, the phone also features an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, a 2MP portrait and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, the phone sports a 16MP lens with Sony IMX471 sensor and f/2.0 aperture.

The realme XT is available in Pearl Blue and Pearl White where it starts at the price of ₹15,999 (RM938,75) and goes up to ₹18,999 (RM1,114.78).
