OPPO sub-brand Realme had recently released their latest Realme 5 series in India – and it proved previous rumours of the presence of a 64MP camera on the device wrong.
But don’t be too disheartened, because leaked images of the Realme XT have surfaced in China, and that device will be the one to come with a 64MP camera. It what looks like a media pre-briefing, the Realme XT was given to journalists to use, who then promptly shared their images onto Weibo.
The device looks to have a quad camera setup – the main lens is a 64MP shooter that uses the Samsung ISOCELL GW1 sensor. This makes the Realme XT one of the two devices after Redmi Note 8 Pro to have a 64MP lens. The other lenses are an 8MP ultrawide shooter, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor.
The design itself is strikingly similar to the Xiaomi Mi 9 with the glass back, vertical camera placements and water drop notch. The display is a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel.
Presentation slide images show that the phone will come with a Snapdragon 712 chipset that’s coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It supports VOOC 3.0 fast charge of up to 20W and will ship with ColorOS 6.
As of now, we’re still awaiting the announcement of the Realme 5 and 5 Pro, so it might be a while before we see the Realme XT make its way here.
