Alongside the realme 5i, realme has also launched their wireless earbuds called the realme Buds Air — realme’s first wireless earbuds.
These earbuds are equipped with the R1 chip and Bluetooth 5.0, so they’re expected to have seamless connections and also better battery performance. With the Gaming Mode switched on, the Buds Air can reduce latency by 51%, offering better gaming experience. This mode can be switched on by long-pressing both sides of the earbuds. The realme Buds Air also supports Environmental Noise Cancellation to filter out background noise and providing crystal clear audio so you can still have decent phone conversations in crowded places.
Realme also made sure that pairing will be efficient too. After the initial setup to pair the earbuds to your phone, it’ll instantly connect to your phone whenever you open the case. Speaking of its case, the realme Buds Air case supports wireless charging and can offer up to 17 hours of battery life. You can also opt for the wired charging via USB-C or get the wireless charger separately.
The earbuds also come with built-in Google Assistant which can be used to control music playback and answering/declining calls without needing to use your phone. Some of the smart controls including double-tapping to play/pause music or answer calls, triple-tapping to go to the next song and long-pressing on one side of the earbud to end call, decline call or activate the voice assistant.
The realme Buds Air is available in White and its first online sale will start at 12AM on January 21 on Shopee. It is usually priced at RM299, but if you purchase during its first online sale on Shopee, you can get it for RM199.
