The realme Buds Air 2 is the latest product from realme and despite featuring active noise cancellation, they’re only priced at RM199.
Surprisingly affordable
This is an unexpected price tag as the Buds Air 2 succeeds the Buds Air that had no ANC and still costs RM299. The Buds Air 2 has an IPX5 water resistance rating, smart wear detection, and a 10mm Hi-Fi bass boost driver.
Apart from its ANC function, the Buds Air 2 also has a Transparency Mode so users are aware of their surroundings. There’s also the upgraded R2 chip that promises better performance, connection and battery consumption — this helped the earbuds in offering up to 25 hours of playback time.
The Chainsmokers is involved in developing the Buds Air 2
That’s not all; realme also partnered with The Chainsmokers to enhance the audio quality by using diamond-like carbon diaphgram to reduce audio distortion. If you download the realme Link App, you can also switch between two modes — Dynamic to balance your mids, trebles and bass, and Bright to bring focus to the human voice.
The realme Buds Air 2 is available in Closer Black and Closer White; they can be purchased on April 3 from realme’s retail stores and all authorised dealers. You can also get it online via realme’s Lazada store on April 8.
