It’s been almost a year now since the Realme 8 series was unveiled and its successor has finally stepped up to show its true colours, literally.
Renders of the Realme 9 Pro and Pro+ have been shared online and if true, these two variants will be offered in three colours — Midnight Black, Aurora Green, and Sunrise Blue — as well as sporting a glossy back. Keep reading to discover the specs of the phones.
Realme 9 Pro 5G
The Pro variant is rumoured to feature a Snapdragon 695 SoC, paired with 6/8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. If that’s not enough RAM for you, there will be a feature to expand up to 5GB of virtual RAM. It also packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast-charging.
For its display, we have ourselves a 6.59-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel that pushes a 120Hz refresh rate and supports HDR10+. In the imaging department, it’s equipped with a 64MP + 8MP + 2MP setup, along with a 16MP selfie camera.
Realme 9 Pro+
On the other hand, we’ll be seeing MediaTek’s Dimensity 920 SoC on the Pro+ variant, together with 6/8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of internal storage. It runs on a 4,500mAh battery and might support 33W fast-charging as well.
Compared to the Pro, this phone will sport a smaller AMOLED display at 6.43-inches with support for FHD+ and a 90Hz refresh rate. For the cameras, you’re getting a 50MP + 8MP + 2MP rear setup and a 16MP selfie camera.
Pricing
Reports say the Realme 9 Pro will retail from 17,999 Indian Rupee (~RM1009) for the 6GB+128GB model and 19,999 Indian Rupee (~RM1121) for the 8GB+128GB model.
