Realme launched the realme X2 Pro last week, but that’s not the last phone of the year for them. Today, realme launches the realme 5s — a device that fits perfectly between the realme 5 Pro and the realme 5.
The realme 5s has a similar 6.5-inch LCD screen that pushes 720p resolution and just like its siblings, it comes with a dew-drop notch. Available in two colour options — Crystal Blue and Crystal Red — the realme 5s features a holographic pattern paired with a diamond-cut design.
Under the hood, the realme 5s is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 AIE processor paired with. 4GB RAM and 128GB storage which is expandable up to 256GB storage. It also has a beefy 5,000mAh battery that can easily last users a full day even with a few rounds of gaming.
Moving on to the cameras, the realme 5s has a 48MP primary camera paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens, while its front holds a 13MP selfie lens. The camera setup also supports Super Nightscape 2.0 for better lowlight photography and ChromaBoost, a feature to enhance the colours of the images.
The realme 5s is available at RM799, in which its first offline sale will begin on December 14 while its first online sale will start from 2PM, December 19 on Shopee. While those who purchase the device offline will be entitled to free realme 5s phone cases, those who purchase the realme 5s on Shopee will get the phone cases and also the realme Buds 2.
