Realme is about to launch its next device and no, it’s not going to be called the Realme 4 due to Chinese superstitions. The Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro will be making their debut in India on August 20 with significant upgrades over the Realme 3 series.
According to posters and tweets, Realme’s newest devices are going to be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery which is the largest battery seen on Realme phones so far. However, only the Realme 5 Pro will support VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 that can power up the phone up to 55% in half an hour.
Real fast charging without any heating issues even while using your smartphone – say goodbye to your charging woes with VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 on #realme5Pro!

Moreover, the Realme 5 is coming with a Snapdragon 665 chipset and four rear cameras. The main camera is revealed to come with an f/1.8 aperture and we’re hoping it might be a 48MP camera. The poster also showed that the Realme 5 will still sport a physical rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. On the other hand, the Realme 5 Pro is confirmed to sport a 48MP main camera paired with an ultra wide angle lens, portrait lens and super macro lens.
Too bad the 64MP cameras aren’t going to be integrated to the new Realme devices yet. Nevertheless, the phones are still greatly improved thanks to the quad camera setup with a 48MP main camera.
