During Qualcomm’s keynote speech this morning, the company highlighted their movements to push for 5G technology improvement, and inevitably plugged their Snapdragon 865 chipset which we know are equipped in foreign variants of the Samsung Galaxy S20, the Xiaomi Mi 10, and Realme X50 Pro 5G.
But during the presentation, Qualcomm also confirmed the other upcoming smartphones which will be equipped with the powerful chipset, effectively also affirming the devices’ impending arrival. These devices include the Black Shark 3, ROG Phone 3, ASUS ZenFone 7, Lenovo Legion Gaming Phone, vivo APEX 2020, Redmi K30 Pro and the OPPO Find X2.
The latter two phones we know exists, but we’re glad that Qualcomm had confirmed the other smartphones too, especially the ROG Phone 3 and Legion Gaming Phone, which will be Lenovo’s first foray into the gaming phone market. The vivo APEX 2020 is set to be introduced this Friday, and now we know what chipset it rocks.
This effectively means that all these devices will have support for 5G, since the chipset comes packed with a Snapdragon X55 modem.
