A few days ago, Sony made their Xperia 5 III smartphone available for pre-order in Malaysia, which was released back in July. For a limited time, consumers can get gifts with the phone such as a screen protector, casing, and the WF-XB700 wireless earbuds that are worth RM549.
The Sony Xperia 5 III, comes in a similar form factor as its predecessor, coming in at 8.2mm thin and weighing 168 grams, so it is slightly thicker and heavier than the Sony Xperia 5 II. But overall, it is still a compact design and has a sleek and modern look. Additionally, there are two thicker bezels on the top and bottom of the phone.
The back panel features a triple camera design that includes a 12MP telephoto lens, 12MP ultrawide shooter, and 12MP wide camera. While on the front you get an 8MP selfie camera that is housed on the top bezel of the phone.
The display on the Sony Xperia 5 is probably its greatest feature, with a 6.1” OLED Display that includes FDH+ and HDR along with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. The smartphone also has a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz motion blur, and 240Hz touch scanning rate.
In terms of hardware, this phone has a Snapdragon 888, which comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage that is expandable to 1TB via a microSD slot. The battery uses a 4500 mAh pack that supports fast charging via a USB-C.
The Sony Xperia 5 III is now available for pre-order via Sony’s official website and is priced at RM 4,599.
