We’re not too sure whether the Pokemon GO hype still exists worldwide, but we’re pretty sure that the hype has diminished significantly here in local shores. Despite the legacy title making a comeback via the efforts of Niantic, it is clear that what is viral will only stay for a short period of time. Nevertheless, there is another Pokemon game in the market, called Pokemon GO.
For those of you who are hoping for something more action packed, depending on where you’re coming from, Pokemon Duel might or might not disappoint you given the fact that it is nothing like Pokemon GO. Pokemon GO is a strategy battle type game in which players control Pokemon figures in turn by turn battles. The battles work similarly to how you would play a board game, such as chess.
Each Pokemon has its own stats, and can be strengthen as you battle more. Pokemon Duel also features a “Gotta Catch ’em All” concept via the collection of new Pokemon figures to assist you in your battles. The game also allows players to compete with other players under a league mode.
If you happen to be a Pokemon fan, you might be keen on trying out this new title. Pokemon Duel is currently available on both iOS and Android platforms.
