POCO has announced the launch of its latest entry-level smartphone, the POCO C71, aimed at price-conscious consumers. The new device boasts a large 6.88” display, an octa-core UNISOC T7250 processor, and an upgraded 32MP AI dual camera system.
According to Angus Ng, Head of Product Marketing at POCO Global, the POCO C71 “sets a new standard in entry-level smartphones,” offering a flagship-level experience with an immersive display and powerful performance.

The POCO C71 features up to 128GB of internal storage with support for up to 8GB of additional memory expansion. It also includes a 120Hz AdaptiveSync refresh rate and TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light, flicker-free, and circadian-friendly viewing.
Photography capabilities are enhanced with a 32MP AI dual camera system and an 8MP selfie front camera. The device comes in Black, Gold, and Blue finishes with a slim 8.26mm profile.

Battery life is supported by a 5,200mAh battery, offering over 20 hours of video playback or 9 hours of gaming on a single charge. It also supports 15W fast charging.
The POCO C71 will be available in Malaysia at official POCO stores on Shopee, Lazada, and mi.com. Two storage variants, 3GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB, will be offered with early bird pricing available until May 9.
