Nine years ago, Sony launched its online network for the PlayStation console. Alongside the PlayStation Network, Sony introduced its digital marketplace called PlayStation Store, allowing users to purchase digital versions of the game without needing to leave the house. Today, Sony is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the PlayStation Store, and it is doing so with a weekly sale that begins today.

The first batch of sales will run until the 15th of November (next Tuesday), with various games receiving discounts of up to 60% off. For those of you who are part of PSN Plus, the discount can go as deep as 70%. Some of the titles that have been discounted for the first week includes the entire Grand Theft Auto series and Bloodborne, alongside indie darlings like Fez and Towerfall. If any of those games interest you, you really should get them before the offer expires. Games aren’t the only thing that are discounted in the PSN Store of course as videos and movies will be available for cheap as well.

One quick thing to note is that the sale is, so far, only available on the US PlayStation Store. We don’t quite know if Sony will be bringing the sales to the PlayStation Stores of other locations, but here’s to hoping that it does.
