Created as part of the Pixar in a Box instalment, Pixar has teamed up with the Khan Academy to publish an online course titled ‘The Art of Storytelling’ on the only education platform. While Pixar is still working on uploading the full course material, the first section of the course introduces the basics of storytelling. The second part of the course isn’t available yet, but it’ll be focused on characters.
Perhaps the best part of this course is that it is entirely free for anyone who wishes to learn it, so you can learn about storytelling from Pixar without needing to pay a single cent. Even if you’re not interested in writing stories, the course is a great way to see how Pixar works its magic behind the scenes.
