With Christmas just a week away, Overwatch is getting into the Christmas spirit with the Winter Wonderland update, bringing with it new game modes, new cosmetic items, and a huge overhaul to Symmetra.

Much like the Olympics and Halloween events, players who level up in Overwatch will be able to get a Christmas-themed Loot Box that may or may not net you a Christmas-themed skin on taunt. On top of that, Overwatch’s Brawl mode will be hosting the Mei’s Snowball Offensive mode, a 6v6 Mei-only mode that resembles a traditional snowball fight. These themed specials will be available until the 2nd of January. Past that, you’ll have to wait for Christmas 2017 before the event gets revived.

As for updates that will be sticking around post 2nd of January, the long awaited Symmetra redesign has finally arrived, giving the Support character new abilities as well as a new Ultimate skill for use. Sombra will also be receiving a new “Boop” unlockable voice line with the update. Rounding up the update are a bunch of bug fixes, all of which can be found here.
